  1. For sure widespread climate change could trigger regional conflicts, famines and movements of refugees as food, water and energy resources will become scarce and their homes will be threatened by flooding since the sea levels rises every year.

  2. More than 20% of the total gas emissions comes from transport. That includes air, sea, and land; it is difficult to alter (for now) the main power source for airplanes, but this is surely not the case for ships and cars. If that happens it would be an "easy" way to reduce gases. However, is there political will to do that? Or, are we captives of oil-producing companies?
